Kathy Herring, Owner and Licensed Building Contractor
Kathy has more than 15 years of experience in the construction process through managing her own projects and working for other firms. She is a proud alumnus of East Carolina University’s Construction Management program and holds an Unlimited Building License from the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. She is an Accredited Builder, Accredited Remodeler and Accredited Master Builder.
Doug Gomes, Owner and Logistics Coordinator
Doug spent over 50 years in manufacturing and brings his knowledge and skills to coordinate logistics for our remodeling and new construction projects. The principles and values he developed over his career guide KDL Construction and ensure that our clients receive a concierge building experience.
Caroline Hammond, Project Assistant
Caroline joined KDL Construction as an office assistant in 2023. After being promoted to project assistant in 2026, she began contributing to design, estimating and project management. Her thoughtful approach, creativity and commitment to excellence make her a highly valued part of the KDL Construction team.
